Types of Properties
What types of reinforcement can PVC provide for my facility?
Here at Clearway we offer a lot of different grades when it comes to PVC and each of these materials have special properties that can be used in special ways, they can even offer reinforcement of your facility. These products include: Fire Retardant, Anti-Static, Anti-UV.
Fire Retardant
Fire Retardant PVC has been made specifically for fire proofing solutions. The process in which it is manufactured has been scientifically calculated to where we add certain compounds to make the PVC this way (I won’t bore you too much with the science). Fire retardant PVC is self-extinguishing which means if you withdraw a flame the burning will stop. Our fire retardant PVC o responds to the various international requirements demanded in construction and building: EUROCLASS classification (E, D, C or B), M classification (M1 to M4), B classification (B1 to B2), V classification (V0 to V2), EN1598, ISO 25890, etc. Fire retardant PVC is the perfect product for somebody who needs to adhere to fire safety solutions or is dealing with heat and would like to protect themselves.
Anti-Static
If your work is surrounded by electrical components or a data centre or anywhere which would mean that there were a lot of static charge across the facility this is where you would use an Anti-Static reinforcement this is made with ant static properties which absorbs static.
Anti-UV
If your facility has a lot of bright UV light coming through the windows or maybe as a by-product which may cause disruption to staff working this is where Anti-UV is best product, this will be reinforced onto windows of the facility and still let in light for the staff to be able to do their job adequately but now the strain from the light would be taken away due to the Anti-UV properties of the PVC on the windows.
