Cold Storage & Refrigeration
Maintaining consistent low temperatures is critical in environments like walk-in freezers, cold storage facilities, and refrigerated distribution areas. But constant foot or vehicle traffic through these spaces can cause cold air to escape, driving up energy costs and compromising temperature-sensitive goods.
That’s where Low Temperature PVC Strip Curtains make the difference.
Our Polar Grade PVC curtains are specially formulated to stay flexible, durable, and crack-resistant — even in freezing conditions — creating an effective thermal barrier without obstructing access.
Our Polar grade PVC is the ideal solution for businesses working in refrigeration and cooling. The PVC strips act as a barrier towards thermal energy loss. Polar PVC has been manufactured to allow for the PVC to maintain durability, flexibility, and to prevent the PVC from becoming brittle even when in extremely cold temperatures. They are also less likely to roll up at the bottoms in colder temperatures. Polar PVC strips and panels maintain their flexibility and resistance to breaking and cracking in applications both inside and outside where temperatures range from -25°C to +30°C.
PVC Strip Curtains
Our Low Temperature PVC Strip Curtains are the perfect solution for larger doorways. They are the perfect solution for insulating doorways in cold rooms, larger refrigeration units, and warehouse doorways exposed to freezing temperatures.
Fridge Chiller Kits
We also offer fridge chiller kits, which are the perfect solution for smaller commercial fridges in shops and stores. They are the perfect solution for insulating these fridges, which saves energy and ensures that the products stay cool even in heat waves.
Low Temperature PVC is the best solution for saving energy where there is a lot of traffic through doors. The polar PVC ensures that there is good thermal insulation and prevents the cold from escaping from the room, even if there is a lot of through traffic. Thus this is the perfect solution for businesses that want to ensure that there is no energy loss and cold escaping from their refrigerated rooms. This is also important for keeping the products in these rooms from decomposing or defrosting when the cold air escapes.
The Benefits of using Chiller Kits and Low Temp PVC Curtains
-
Retain chilled air inside freezers or refrigerated spaces
-
Prevent frost build-up and humidity imbalances
-
Reduce energy consumption and HVAC strain
-
Minimise product spoilage, thawing, or contamination
-
Allow smooth movement of staff, trolleys, or pallet trucks
Whether you’re running a food processing plant, butcher’s cold room, or a temperature-controlled warehouse, Polar PVC helps maintain the cold chain — efficiently and affordably.
