Our policy is to protect our customers information, and only use the information that we obtain about you legally in accordance to the Data Protection Act 1998. We will not make any of your information available to any company outside of Clearway.
The information we obtain about you is to provide you with the best possible service. We will not email you unless you are subscribed to our newsletter which you can subscribe to by entering your details in the section at the bottom of the page.

Use of personal data collected
Comments
When you leave a comment on our website, the data in the comment form, as well as your IP address and your browser user agent, are collected to help us detect unwanted comments. An anonymized channel created from your email address (also called hash) can be sent to Gravatar to check if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy clauses are available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is validated, your profile picture will be publicly visible next to your comment.
Media
If you are a registered user and upload images to the website, we advise you to avoid uploading images containing EXIF GPS coordinate data. Visitors to your website can download and extract location data from these images.
Cookies
If you submit a comment on our website, you will be offered to register your name, email address and website in cookies. This is only for your comfort so you donโt have to enter this information if you file another comment later. These cookies expire after one year. If you go to the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal data and will be deleted automatically when your browser closes. When you log in, we will set up a number of cookies to record your login information and screen preferences. The life of a login cookie is two days, the life of a screen option cookie is one year. If you check โRemember Me,โ your login cookie will be kept for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted. By changing or publishing a post, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include any personal data. It simply shows the ID of the publication you just edited. It expires after a day.
Content embedded from other sites
Articles on this site may include integrated content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Content embedded from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor went to that other site. These websites could collect data about you, use cookies, carry third-party tracking tools, track your interactions with this embedded content if you have an account logged on their website.
How long itโs been to store your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This automatically recognizes and approves the following comments instead of leaving them in the moderation queue. For users who register on our site, we also store the personal data listed in their profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Site managers can also see and edit this information.
The rights you have on your data
If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we have about you, including the data you have provided to us. You can also request the removal of your personal data. This does not take into account data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.
